Lake Michigan College unveiled a Survey of Southwest Michigan Employers on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 which shows that there are actually a fairly substantive number of job opportunities available locally...but far too often there are not enough skilled workers ready to take them on.
Pollster Ed Sarpolus of EPIC-MRA joined Berrien County Community Development Director Dan Fette and Todd Gustafson from Michigan Works! in laying out the results of the fairly comprehensive survey. To see the Executive Summary...click on the following link:
