Her company’s success has been acknowledged for four consecutive years by Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce with business awards including the 2002 Entrepreneur of the Year aware, 2003 Platinum State award, and the 2004 and 2005 Silver Stake awards.
Gloria graduated in 1990 from Lake Michigan College with an Associate in Arts degree and holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-South Bend.
Gloria was also president at the Point O Woods Ladies organization for five years, sits on the LMC Hispanic Advisory Committee, and has been part of the volunteer leadership for LMC’s Winner’s Circle Auction. Gloria is a member of the Executive and Professional Women’s Association, National Science Teachers Association, Lakeshore Rotary, Chemical Coaters Association, DuPont Starcoaters, Northside Business Association, the Electrocoaters Association, and the Business Alliance Support group.
Gloria and her husband, Erik, live in Stevensville with their daughter Liz.

Kate has an extensive background in banking, and her areas of expertise include deposit and investment accounts, on-line banking and merchant processing.
Kate’s professional career experience includes a focus on the financial services industry, with an emphasis on risk management, personal and commercial banking.

Adam has been a Director on the Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce Board since 2005 and is the chairman of the Government Affairs Committee.
In addition to serving on the Chamber Board, Adam also serves on the Cornerstone Alliance Board of Directors, was an officer on the Board of Directors for LYBSA as well as a volunteer coach and has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Lakeshore Christian Church in Stevensville.
Adam and his family have owned M & W Tire in Benton Harbor since 1976 and currently is the President.
Adam and his wife, Lori, have two children and live in Saint Joseph.

Peter Lamberta - Chair

Peter, one of the founding members of the Whirlpool Young Professionals Diversity Network, is an active member of the local community. After graduating from Purdue University in 2002, he served in varioius technology roles at Whirlpool over the past four years. His role as Senior Mobility Architect allows him to serve as Whirlpool's representative on AT&T's Business Advisory Council focusing on enterprise mobility.
Peter is passionate about being involved in the community; he focuses on expanding the cultural and social opportunities that Southwest Michigan offers as a means of networking individuals in the community. He believes that by making the area a more attractive place to live and work will ensure the future success of the individuals as well as the area.
Peter is an FAA licensed pilot, an avid photographer and regularly takes advantage of the many outdoor activities Michigan has to offer.

David Krock is a serial entrepreneur and managing owner of The Whitcomb Senior Living Community and The Veranda @ the Whitcomb. David is host of the radio program Senior Lifestyles:The Radio Magazine of Life After 60 on 94.9 FM WSJM, and also serves on the USA Today small business panel.
Over the years, David has developed broad experience in leading start-ups and ongoing organizations into periods of sustained growth. As founder of, inventory in, or advisor to over $300 million in enterprises, his end goal with every organization is More Customers, More Profit (or More Good Done), More Freedom and More Meaning.
David is passionate about seeing St. Joseph and Benton Harbor continue to grow as great places to live, work and play.

Bill Crowder

Bill is currently the General Manager of Signature Automotive Group. He has managed this dealership and the previous franchises for over 20 years. What he enjoys most is working with people and especially enjoys working with our youth by volunteering. Bill has coached recreational soccer, taught Hybrid Technology in science classrooms and volunteered with Junior Achievement each year. He has been featured twice in Time Magazine for these efforts and by winning the President's award from Toyota. His organization recently was awarded this coveted award again for 2009.
Bill was also presented the Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Cornerstone Chamber in February 2009. Additionally, he serves on the Board of the Bridgman Foundation for Educational Excellence as a Trustee. He chairs the PR Committee because of his passion for enhancing the learning opportunities of our youth.
Bill has three children; Brandon, Ashley and Austin which attend Bridgman Schools. He has been married for 22 years to his soul-mate, Kim. Bill enjoys sports and the outdoors, not to mention automobiles. He loves spending his free time with his family and friends in Michigan's Great Southwest.

Stephanie came to St. Joseph 6-1/2 years ago to open the Great Lakes Interiors store in downtown St. Joe. She also owns "At the Beach Rentals" near Silver Beach.
She had been a Chamber Ambassador for 4 years, served on the Bluffside committee, the St. Joseph Downtown Development Authority, as well as the St. Joseph Lakefront Tax Increment Finance Authority, and is a strong supporter and member of St. Joseph Today.

Since 2005, she had maintained her legal practice, providing services and advice to local businesses, individuals, and municipalities.

In 2005, the Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce recognized Becky as Entrepreneur of the Year award for the achievements accomplished by her company.Becky has served on the Board of Directors for ABSC/M (Affiliated Building Service Contractors in Michigan) and is a past Rotary member. She spends most of her time working to develop her company, including learning new techniques within the Building Service Contractors industry. She is passionate about trying to help companies with their recycling programs to reduce waste & Green Cleaning (cleaning for health).Becky and her husband Kevin live in St. Joseph with their daughter Taylor.

Nick moved into Saint Joseph in 1980. At that time, he was a multiline insurance representative. In 1983, Nick began a 25 year career in the telephone industry, covering the tri-county area. He holds a BBA degree with majors in marketing, management and accounting from Eastern Michigan University. In addition, Nick has pursued many industry training programs to maintain his ability to serve the business community. Service to the community in which one lives is a vital part of Nick's belief structure. As such, he has been a Chamber Ambassador for more than 13 years.

Tile Mart is a family business which as been part of this community for 44 years. Jennifer has been full-time at Tile Mart for 16 years in purchasing, design, advertising, and sales. The most interesting purchasing assignment involved going to Cairo, Egypt last year. Habitat for Humanity is our primary organization of focus.
Jennifer graduated from Saint Mary's College, IN with a degree in Fine Arts and Economics and served on the board of the business school.
Hiking, travel, art, volleyball, tennis and yoga are her favorite pasttimes.

Mike's primary focus is on providing executive leadership and further expanding the company's footprint within the Expedite Market. Mike has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Marketing from Western Michigan University.
